Nov. 19 – Loop Hike utilizing the Cave Creek and Pinhoti Trail
This will be a 7.5-mile loop hike in the Cheaha Wilderness Area utilizing the Cave Creek and Pinhoti Trail. This hike is rated “moderate to diffi cult” and passes by McDill Point, the site of an old airplane crash, and the 2,334 ft. Hernandez Peak. Participants may meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Foodmax Parking Lot in Anniston, or by 9:00 a.m. at the trailhead parking area at Cheaha State Park.
Nov. 29 – Outings Planning Meeting
This will be our quarterly outings planning meeting to finalize activities for the upcoming Winter Quarter 2006 and to set tentative activities for the Spring Quarter 2006. If you are willing to lead an outing for our association, please make plans to attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to lead an outing, please contact Evelyn Stephens or Keith Hudson and let them know your date preferences and proposed plans for your outing. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., in the Victoria Board Room, at the Anniston City Meeting Center.
