When you visit our sites, you can expect to be notified of: what personally identifiable information of yours is collected; the organization collecting the information; how the information is used; with whom the information may be shared; what choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information; the kind of security procedures that are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under the licensee’s control; and how you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Children should always get permission from their parents before sending any information about themselves (such as name, e-mail address and phone number) over the Internet, to us or to anyone else. We will not knowingly allow anyone younger than 13 to register with any of our sites or to access those features that require registration.
Consolidated Publishing Co. collects two kinds of information from site visitors: (1) information voluntarily supplied by visitors to our Web sites through optional registration and (2) tracking information gathered as visitors navigate our sites.
To gain access to some of our Web sites’ features (such personal Web pages, bulletin boards and online forums), you may be asked to register and to provide certain information as part of the registration process. (We may ask, for example, for your name, e-mail address, sex, age and ZIP code, and we might request information on your particular areas of interest.)
We may also send “cookies” to your computer to make your use of our sites easier for you. Our advertisers may also assign their own cookies to your browser, a process that we don’t control. You can set your browser not to accept cookies, but if you do, you may not be able to take advantage of some of the features of our sites.
Cookies are tiny data files that assign your computer a unique, random number that stays in your computer. A cookie doesn’t identify you; it just remembers that your computer has visited our site before. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply. A cookie can’t read data off your hard drive.
We use cookies to tell us how visitors use our sites. We use that information to help us tailor our site to your needs and make the sites easier and faster to use. For example, cookies allow us to track the pages on our sites visited by our users. A cookie also makes it possible for an online shopping cart to remember what you have already selected and allows the site to remember your preferences, such as a gift list.
Our Web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer’s connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our sites. (Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data - such as the Web pages you view.) Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to deliver our Web pages to you upon request, to tailor our sites to the interests of our users, and to measure traffic within our sites.
Our sites include links to many other Web sites whose privacy policies we don’t control. Once you leave our servers, use of any information you provide is governed by the privacy policy of the operator of the site you’re visiting. That policy may differ from ours.
When we present information about our site users to our advertisers, it is usually in the form of statistics on traffic to the various pages within our sites. We do not share personal information on visitors to our sites with anyone else, including advertisers. All information gathered on any Consolidated Publishing Web site is stored within a secure server provided by our host company, Walls New Media Inc.. However, as effective as any security measure implemented by Consolidated Publishing Co. and Walls New Media Inc., no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. Any information you include in a message you submit to any public posting area is available to anyone with Internet access.
As the Internet evolves, we may need to change our privacy policy or other terms of use for our sites. If we change our privacy policy, we will post the changes before they take effect. Our use of information will always be governed by the terms of the policy in effect when the information was gathered.
