Oxford PARD takes 4th place at state

The 13 & Under Oxford Black soccer team won the Alabama Recreation & Parks Association District IV tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5, after completing their regular season undefeated with a record of 11-0.

The District IV playoffs were held at the Anniston Youth Sports Complex fields at McClellan. Among their rivals were Centre, Anniston and the Jacksonville All-Stars. In the final game Oxford Black conquered the Jacksonville team 4-1.
The team then traveled to Dothan Nov. 12-13 and placed 4th overall in the state.
