Anniston Housing team wins state

The Anniston Housing Authority 15 & Under Basketball Team competed in the Alabama Public Housing Basketball State Championships, March 18-21, in Dothan. The team went 5-0 to win the championship.

The basketball progam is a partnership with the Alabama Association of Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (AAHRA) and the Alabama Sports Festival. The two organizations joined forces in 1995 to further develop the goals and objectives of the Public Housing Youth Sports Program.
