Team me up, Scotty: Eaton and Pettus claim Dion Williams Memorial Tournament

Scott Eaton and Scott Pettus shot a net 61 (11-under-par) to win the inaugural Dion Williams Memorial Golf Tournament at Indian Oaks.They won by three shots.

The event was played in memory of a former three-sport star at Saks High School who died in an auto accident two years ago this month.

The event drew 17 teams and raised $2,000 for the Saks athletic program.

Event organizers hope to grow the event to a size it can produce a donation to each high school in Calhoun County.

The other flight winners were Ray Holder and Tim Holder (64) and Eric Williams and Stacy Chaffin (69).
